looks like barricade survived...
According to the novelization for Transformers, I believe Barricade was killed by Optimus Prime. However, in the actual on-screen version, there was some ambiguity - we never saw the fate of Barricade. No wreckage, no nothing. Well, looks like, despite what the novelization said, he's still alive. That's the only logical conclusion I can come to after seeing these new pics showing a couple vehicles of Barricade's vehicle mode (one presumably being a backup/"stunt double").

No complaints here, I loved Barricade in the first film and I wanted to see more of him. Looks like I'll get my wish.

DONE!
I've actually done it. All my MP3s are tagged. All 90GB of them.
I'm going to bed now.
blue lights.
Now this is something I could use on those long drives to Michigan. If they end up marketing such a product, I wonder if they'll create aftermarket ones that can plug into the lighter. I'd be all over that.
My mission in re-tagging my MP3s was slightly derailed last night as my internet flaked out (and I need that to use Tagscanner properly), but Cablevision came in and fixed it today, so I'm back on track. Just finished up my S-T folder, so it's pretty much smooth sailing from here on in. 76GB out of a total 90GB, 16,908 files in 1,359 folders completed. And if you think that's bad, Avery's apparently got nearly twice that much to tag. Good luck, bro.

the mission.
If you had told me years ago that I would be trying to re-tag 90GB worth of MP3s, I would have said you were insane. It was something that I always wanted to do, simply due to having so many MP3s that were tagged improperly or not tagged at all (due to negligent ripping or just plain bad tagging). Well, as of last night, I've completed 50.8GB out of that 90GB. Not too bad. Yes, I realize this may go down as being one of the most pointless achievements of my life, but some of us like having uber-organized music collections. Yes, some of us border upon obsessive compulsive.
I think part of the reason I got so much done this weekend with my MP3s was because A) the Red Wings stunk up the joint in back-to-back losses and B) I was sick with some sort of cold all weekend (from which I'm still recovering). I'm thankful that this week is Spring Break, which means that there are no classes to deal with until next week. I still have to work Monday - Wednesday (and I have to return to my sadist of a dentist on Thursday), but overall, this should be a relaxing week. I just want to get these MP3s done with and get this cold out of my system so I can actually enjoy some Super Smash Bros. online.

we miss you, douglas.
Douglas Adams would have been 56 today. I can't believe he's been gone for almost 7 years now. He's still greatly missed.

progress...
I've made it all the way up to Apoptygma Berzerk's "You and Me Against The World". Still a loooooong way to go, but it's something.
have i lost my grip on sanity? perhaps...
I've decided to undertake a rather grand task that could take me a good, long while. I'm going through all my MP3s - all 98GB of them - and making sure they're all tagged correctly. A good portion of my collection was ripped long ago when I didn't really care about making sure my ID3 tags were correct, just that the file names were correct. You better believe that I'm thankful for Winamp's 'Auto-Tag' functionality. Makes things a million times easier for me, but I still need to make sure it's tagging things correctly. In addition to that, I'm also grabbing the album art for everything and encoding it into the tags to have things all ready when I get my Zune in the next month or so.
Yeah, I know it's insane. As of right now, I've merely made it up to Alice In Chains' "Sap" (and yes, I'm doing this alphabetically). This could take a while...

welcome new galaxy!
Well, I just finished Super Mario Galaxy...for the first time, at least. For now, at least, I'm going to try and concentrate on some other games like Sam & Max and Zack & Wiki. And then it'll be back to beating Mario a few more times. Whee!
But before I get into more gaming, it's time to watch the new episode of Transformers: Animated...as dreadful as it may potentially be (last week's episode was actually pretty decent, though). And I need more coffee. And maybe some cold pizza from last night.
I'm such a lazy bastard on Saturdays.
