Something to ponder.
When an insect finds itself clinging to your car as you're driving or perhaps even ends up inside, does it ever find its way back home? Or does it just make a new home at your destination? I've always wondered about that.

SWEEP!!!

On to Round Two!!!
Hockey superstitions and other fun stuff.
I'm not ordinarily a superstitious guy. I see organized religion as mere superstition and as such, don't subscribe to it in the least. But there's one thing about which I am superstitious and that's hockey. Particularly playoff hockey.
I'm one of those guys that grows a playoff beard for the entire duration that the Wings are still in the playoffs. You can imagine that last year got a bit itchy. If I find that wearing a particular jersey brings good luck from game to game, I stick with it - and I don't dare wash it (my Osgood jersey is 3-0 for the playoffs thus far). And of course, just like during the regular season, I don't dare utter the verboten s-word until the score is in the books. I'd prefer not to even think it, but much like the game, if you've even thought it, you're done. I've even had to consult with my fellow hockey fanatics over at LetsGoWings.com to ensure that getting a hair cut doesn't conflict with growing a playoff beard (the general consensus thus far is that it doesn't).
So today, with Game 4 fast approaching, I've been wearing my Osgood jersey all day and am itching something fierce due to the hair covering the lower half of my face. But it's all worth it. Especially if we can pull off another win tonight.

Since the Wings aren't playing until tomorrow night...
LET'S GO CAPS!!!
I have such a love/hate relationship with the NHL playoffs. Thankfully, I have a prescription of Xanax to help with that.

Fifteen years...
Yesterday was exactly fifteen years since Kurt Cobain died.
