Ow, my groin!
Seriously. I think I tweaked something in the gym the other day. It's tender, particularly on the right side. Haven't gone to the gym the past couple days as a result. Well, that and I've been sleeping in a little in the AM.
Part of me is actually a little relieved that some shows that I watch have been canceled:
- Life On Mars - Yeah, this got canceled a while ago, but still, an excellent show, loved the finale.
- Reaper - That one's going to piss me off since nothing will be resolved, but it's not surprising; it's too quirky for the masses.
- My Name Is Earl - Eh, it had a good run, plus ABC or FOX may pick it up; left off this season with a cliffhanger, but it's not one that'll eat away at me like The 4400.
I'm so backed up with my TV watching that my DVR still has episodes of shows from the first week of the month that I haven't watched yet. And I don't see any free time in sight to get caught up, especially with all my video work coming in. It's not that I don't enjoy the shows that I watch - there's just not enough time in the day for me anymore when you combine work, videography, editing, going to the gym and sleep. Hell, I haven't even been able to enjoy my PS3 lately, so that's just another thing. I want to be able to relax and enjoy this summer, damn it.
Oh yeah, there's hockey too. Heh. Game 3 Friday night. Good thing I'm taking that day off from work so I can feel more productive at home.

How do I spell relief?
G-A-M-E-7-W-I-N!
Phew.
That was a goddamn nail biter right down to the very end. Dan Cleary is a beast. I swear, I scared the hell out of people driving next to me in Morristown when he scored - slamming my steering wheel, shaking my car all over the place, screaming like a madman. Thankfully (for me) I was at a red light. But goddamn. I love my hockey. And I love my Red Wings.
Oh, shut up, I love you too, Danielle. :P

Another pondering point...
You know how sometimes when an English-speaking American will try to communicate with a non-English speaker by not necessarily speaking more slowly...but just louder? Is that a trait that's unique to Americans or do non-English speakers do that same thing to speakers of other languages?
Also - and Danielle brought this up - do walking rules tend to follow driving rules? By this, I mean the following: in the US, we drive on the right; by the same token, we tend to walk on the right as well. In the UK and in other countries where driving on the left is standard, is walking on the left standard as well?

Friday night.
Geez, I talk, talk, talk about blogging more and then I end up tweeting my week away. WTF?
Anyway, tonight at FDU - The Professors, Live from the Bottle Hill Pub! Be there! I'm videotaping the gig tonight.
Want to see some of The Professors? Check 'em out on YouTube here. They're damn good.
