Neglected.
Yeah, I admit that I neglect my blog in favor of Twitter and Facebook. I think I tend to have more to say in little 140 character soundbites rather than full paragraphs of...stuff. And as much as I say, "Oh, I'll blog more!", I know it's bullshit. But I'm blogging anyway since, hell, I've had this site for nine years now and I feel obligated. Maybe one day I'll actually do something useful with this place.
Anyway...
First day of the spring semester. Only a couple phone calls so far...and of course, just as I type this, a phone call comes through. Except it's not a phone call. It's a fax. First false fax of the semester, in record time too! 8527 ISN'T A FAX LINE, DAMN IT. Not too bad otherwise though, just doing work in the office and staying out of the rain.
Sounds like someone realized they were dialing the wrong line too; a fax is coming in. Means more work for me, which is fine. Keeps me busy...and keeps me from strangling people needlessly too!
One last thing...Ikea is friggin' evil. Too much good shit in that place.

Strange.
I've been walking around in a daze all morning, halfway between conscious and not, zoning out for minutes at a time and not quite remembering how I got from point A to point B on campus, just remembering that I actually traversed the distance. Grinding my teeth absentmindedly annoyed at nothing in particular. I'm not exactly tired either. Fatigued, yeah and I could probably fall asleep if I tried, but I'm pretty much awake.
It's not like it's been a particular bad morning either (yet - as I type this, I can now practically guarantee that some shitstorm or another will occur). With the exception of people on campus over the weekend not understanding what the written word is and why those words exist on certain pieces of equipment instructing people not to move or unplug said equipment, it's been an uneventful morning for me. Phone calls are at a minimum. Odd for a Monday.
Still feel like garbage though.

Wow.
It's been a full month since I posted anything on here. Uh. Damn. Still don't have anything worthwhile to say.
Oh yeah...almost done with my editing. And then it all starts back up again for the holidays in December. I plan on spending my free time this month going to the gym, playing video games and watching hockey.
